Attracting top candidates and addressing talent shortages in Asia through employer branding has become a tricky process due to changing workforce needs.
Many believe that synergy between HR and marketing is the key to successfully positioning organisations as employers of choice. How this happens and why this matters will be revealed at the HR Leaders Summit, Asia’s most prestigious event for senior HR executives.
“The much talked-about collaboration of HR and marketing is about the fusion of psychology and creativity,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.
“The HR Leaders Summit 2016 will illuminate how the commonalities of the two departments can bind them together and how their differences can bring results.”
The HR Leaders Summit is an ultra-exclusive, invitation-only conference for senior HR executives to be held at the Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa on the island of Phuket in southern Thailand on 16-18 May 2016.
A panel discussion entitled “Employer branding: Is it time for HR & marketing work together to fuel growth?” will examine the link between employer branding and content marketing.
The discussion will be led by Ken Hoskin, head of APAC talent at Airbnb, and John Mullins, chief development officer at Ruder Finn. They will present current trends and insights that can paint the future of employer brand management.
They will also identify the most effective social channels for employer branding. The audience will enjoy a comprehensive overview of how policies and guidelines are developed in a way that encourages employees to get active on social media and be seen as thought leaders.
The delegates of last year’s HR Leaders Summit participated in a panel discussion on how to establish an inclusive work environment to attract and retain talent. They also discovered new approaches in developing a compelling employee value proposition.
