Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations available at 8 polyclinics in Singapore from 1 July 2023

Walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations available at 8 polyclinics in Singapore from 1 July 2023

This is in an effort to optimise resources and streamline vaccination services.

Announced on 16 June 2023 (Friday) by the Ministry of Health (MOH) in a press release, COVID-19 vaccination services in Singapore will now be available at eight polyclinics.

As the global crisis of COVID-19 has shifted to become endemic, the demand for vaccinations stabilises, thus MOH will streamline COVID-19 vaccination services at the polyclinics to optimise their resources. Previously, eligible individuals were to make appointments for COVID-19 vaccinations across 23 polyclinics island wide.

From 1 July 2023, walk-in COVID-19 vaccination services will be available at eight polyclinics:

1. Bukit Batok Polyclinic
2. Eunos Polyclinic
3. Geylang Polyclinic
4. Kallang Polyclinic
5. Pioneer Polyclinic
6. Punggol Polyclinic
7. Tampines Polyclinic
8. Woodlands Polyclinic

With regards to types of available vaccinations, all eight polyclinics will offer the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine for eligible individuals aged 12 years and above, with selected clinics offering the Pfizer-BioNTech/Comirnaty vaccine for those aged 5 to 11 years, or the Moderna/Spikevax vaccine for those aged six months to four years. More information on the vaccine types offered by each polyclinic is available here.

Besides the polyclinics, eligible individuals may continue to walk into any of MOH’s nine Joint Testing and Vaccination Centres, or contact any participating Public Health Preparedness Clinic to make an appointment before heading down to the clinic to receive their COVID-19 vaccination.

MOH emphasises that vaccination continues to play an important role in keeping our population safe from COVID-19 and encourages all individuals to take their vaccinations when eligible. Seniors aged 60 years and above and medically vulnerable persons are recommended to take the updated bivalent vaccine booster around one year after their last booster dose. They can start to receive it from five months after their last booster dose.
