Eligible households will receive up to S$190 worth of GSTV – U-Save rebates, depending on the HDB flat type, for this month's payout.
To combat the hiking prices in households, Singapore's Ministry of Finance (MOF) announced that Singaporean households living in HDB flats will receive U-Save and Service & Conservancy Charges (S&CC) rebates in April 2026 as part of the permanent GST Voucher (GSTV) scheme, as announced in Budget 2026
It is stated that over 1mn Singaporean households will benefit from the rebates.
According to MOF, eligible households will receive up to S$190 worth of GSTV – U-Save rebates, depending on their HDB flat type for this months' payout. Additional U-Save rebates will also be provided in April 2026 and July 2026, on top of the regular GSTV – U-Save rebates, to help Singaporean HDB households cope with their utility expenses. The U-Save rebates will also be disbursed again in July and October this year. In total, eligible Singaporean HDB households will receive up to S$570 of U-Save rebates in FY2026.

Eligible households will also receive up to 1 month of S&CC rebates in April, subject to their HDB flat type. In total, eligible households will receive up to three and a half months of S&CC rebates in FY2026.

MOF said per standard protocol, no further action is required by eligible households as the U-Save rebates will be credited directly into households’ utilities accounts with SP Services and S&CC rebates will be credited directly into households’ S&CC accounts with their respective Town Councils.
