His expanded mandate will see him leading the Transformation, Talent & Ecosystem division, while driving JCorp’s AI-first transformation under its JCorp 4.0 vision.
Effective 1 July 2026, Najmie Noordin (pictured above) has taken on the role of Chief Transformation Officer at Johor Corporation (JCorp).
In this expanded mandate, he will lead the Transformation, Talent & Ecosystem division, bringing together enterprise transformation, people & culture, and ecosystem building, the leader shared on LinkedIn. The division will continue to oversee JCorp’s people & culture agenda, JCorp Academy, as well as the progress and growth of CEREBRUM by JCorp and Johor Skills Development Centre (Johor Skills).
At the same time, the expanded division will act as the principal architect of JCorp’s journey to become an AI-first institution, in support of the Group’s broader vision and mission under JCorp 4.0.
Najmie was most recently Chief Talent Officer, a role he held from January 2025. In that capacity, he led JCorp’s Talent Division, overseeing talent management, talent development, and people & culture-related projects. His remit included recruiting, retaining, developing, and managing talent within JCorp, while also driving group-wide efforts around talent development, mobility, and cultural transformation through JCorp DNA.
Prior to that, he served as JCorp’s Chief Learning Officer, a role he took on in March 2024. As CLO, he was responsible for group-wide training and talent development initiatives, meeting the region’s demand for skilled workers through Johor Skills, and positioning JCorp as a catalyst for impact initiatives and policy influence through CEREBRUM.
Commenting on his latest appointment, Najmie said the expanded mandate reflects the organisation’s belief that enterprise transformation, people & culture, and ecosystem building are “deeply interconnected”.
He added: “Transforming an institution, especially navigating technology, structure, capabilities and culture in the age of A.I, is hard. Some might say impossible. But I can only see the endless possibilities because of the team and colleagues I have around me.”
In his new role, Najmie will be accountable for JCorp’s AI-first transformation programme, as well as the organisational redesign workstream that redefines how JCorp is structured, how roles are built, and how its people are developed for the future.
