Up the ranks: Aditi Mahadevan Nair joins JPMorganChase as Head of Human Resources

Equipped with more than two decades of experience in HR leadership, she will now lead the financial institution's people function in Singapore.

Aditi Mahadevan Nair (pictured above) has stepped into a new position as Head of Human Resources at JPMorganChase, marking the latest chapter in a career that spans more than 20 years across the financial services and telecommunications sectors.

She announced the move on LinkedIn, adding that her first few days at the organisation were marked by warm welcomes and strong support from colleagues as she settled into the position.

She also highlighted the opportunity to meet members of the HR leadership team during a recent visit, describing the timing as an especially meaningful introduction to the organisation. Reflecting on those interactions, she noted the team's openness, passion, and commitment to both people and technology.

Nair’s HR journey began in 2002, and over the years she has built a career spanning talent management, workforce strategy, leadership development, and organisational transformation.

Before joining JPMorganChase, Nair was Managing Director and Head of Human Resources for APAC at Barclays, a role she held for four years. She also previously served as Chief Human Resources Officer for India and South Asia at Citi, and earlier in her career worked at Bharti Airtel.

Looking ahead, Nair said she was excited about the opportunity to listen, learn, build partnerships, contribute to the organisation, and make an impact in her new role.

HRO has reached out to Aditi Mahadevan Nair for further comments on her new role, and will update this story once received.
