Mercer utilises HR Tech Interactive to strengthen position

Asia’s only regional media & events brand, Human Resources, is delighted to announce that Mercer, the world’s top-ranked HR consulting form, has signed on as silver sponsor of HR Tech Interactive, Asia’s leading HR technology conference.

The announcement is the latest development in a long association between Mercer and the Asia Pacific HR community through Human Resources magazine.

Mercer’s HR transformation & workforce planning leader, Dion Groeneweg, will share his insights into the future of the HR workspace at the regional conference.

"The term "big data" is often used synonymously with "data analytics", leading to confusion, especially in the context of workforce data," said Groeneweg.

"While there is no dearth of workforce data from both within and outside the organisation, only a handful of organisations can draw meaningful insights from the multitude of data set."

Groeneweg added that a lack of workforce data strategy and the rapid evolution of underlying technology has resulted in parameters measured in many organisations that are continuously changing.

The ability to draw insights from the data and tell a compelling story to link these insights to business outcomes is paramount. It is Groeneweg’s belief that organisations need to adapt quickly, especially in the wake of the rapidly evolving HR technology.

In addition to Mercer, some of the other companies represented on the HR Tech Interactive agenda include Sanofi, Samsung Asia, Galaxy Entertainment, Merck, Kimberly-Clark, Credit Suisse, OshKosh, and many more.

All presenters & panellists, such as David Chin, chief human resources officer of Biosensors International, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

To be held in Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong in October, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s only regional conference on HR technology strategy.

Attendance to the one-day annual event is strictly by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals. Attendance is capped at 100 delegates.

While the theme of HR Tech Interactive 2015 is the role of technology in organisational change, the topics the conference will focus on are: big data talent analytics, mobility for HR professionals, cloud-based people management, social media and collaboration, and next-generation recruitment tools.

To get a global and Pan-Asian regional view of HR technology strategy, do not miss HR Tech Interactive 2015.

Human Resources' interactive-style conference format is a unique blend of case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
