When it comes to sales training, Cegos Asia Pacific has clearly shown it is a step above the rest.
The company won the gold award at 2015’s Vendors of the Year (VOTY) awards in Singapore, in the category of Best Sales Training Providers.
According to a press release issued by Cegos, the firm was lauded for its commitment towards "implementing a robust blended 70:20:10 approach with as much focus in developing the plan for the 20% (share) and 70% (do/action) as the 10% formal learning element (knowledge acquisition through structured training)".
Cegos stated it also consistently focuses on learner action ownership, informal learning and peer-based sharing.
Jeremy Blain, regional managing director of Cegos Asia Pacific, commented on the achievement: “This recognition highlights Cegos’ performance since we established our new regional headquarters in Singapore in 2012.”
“Our profile and success has accelerated following more focused investment in content marketing and building strong customer-centred networks right across the APAC region.
“Our clients are at the heart of all our activities be they one-off face to face activities, extended blended learning tracks, or digitised solutions. This is a huge enabler of our success.”
Other top winners in the category included MHI Global Asia, which secured a shining silver.
momenta and the Marketing Institute of Singapore tied for a bronze award.
MHI Global Asia, in fact, also won the silver award over at the Vendors of the Year awards in Hong Kong.
The gold was presented to Sandler Training Singapore & Hong Kong, while Oliver James Associates bagged the bronze award.
The Vendors of the Year awards, organised by Human Resources magazine, is a long-running annual vendor rankings report that recognises the best solution providers in Asia – starting out in Singapore, and this year extended to Malaysia and Hong Kong.
In the tenth year of the VOTY research, all winners were determined on a two-tier selection process. First, the finalists were identified through an extensive online survey of HR managers in Asia on their preferences.
These finalists then submitted documentation to verify their credentials, which was validated by a panel of more than 50 HR leaders from some of the region’s largest employers.
In effect, for every category, the very end users of such services were the ones who made the critical decision of selecting the best.
