The payout can be used through the LifeSG app for everyday household spending, including groceries, utility bills, and pharmacy purchases.
Families with eligible Singapore Citizen (SC) children born between 2014 and 2025 can now receive S$500 in Child LifeSG Credits (CLC) for each child.
The credits are part of Budget 2026 support measures aimed at helping families manage child-raising and everyday household costs. They come on top of the S$500 CLC top-up disbursed to more than 450,000 children in 2025.
According to the Ministry of Social and Family Development, eligible children must be Singapore Citizens aged zero to 12 in 2026. The disbursement schedule depends on the child’s birth year:

The credits will be automatically credited into the eligible child’s Child Development Account (CDA) trustee based on MSF’s records as at the eligibility assessment date of 1 June 2026.
Parents and caregivers do not need to apply for the credits. The S$500 will be automatically credited to the eligible child’s Child Development Account (CDA) trustee, who can view and use the credits through the LifeSG app.
Trustees will receive an SMS notification once the credits have been added to their LifeSG digital wallet. To receive these updates, ensure that the mobile number linked to your Singpass profile is current.
Where can the credits be used?
Child LifeSG Credits can be used at participating physical and online merchants that accept:
- PayNow UEN QR
- NETS QR
They may be used for household essentials, including groceries, utilities and pharmacy purchases.
