Beware of duplicate MOM website

The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) has issued an advisory cautioning against a duplicate MOM website phishing for personal information – http://mom-gov-sg.com.

For all manpower-related information and transactions, the public should only use  www.mom.gov.sg, MOM noted.

See below for a comparison between the fake and real MOM website.

Here are some tips on how to identify such fake websites:

1. Fake websites may try to look official and mimic the official MOM website

The following are examples of some fake websites that MOM found:

2. Fake websites have similar but different URLs

Official MOM websites and eServices’ URLs will always contain ".mom.gov.sg". For example:

Some fake websites that MOM found are:
These looked very similar to the official URL, but do not have ".mom.gov.sg".

"We will continue to monitor for such fake websites and work to bring them down, and also work to keep the official MOM website unaffected and your data safe," said a statement by MOM.
