Thailand extends 30-day visa exemption period for Indian and Taiwanese tourists to 11 Nov 2024

Initially announced last year, this measure was set to take place for six months from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024.

Thailand will be extending its 30-day visa exemption period for Indian and Taiwanese tourists until 11 November 2024.

Initially announced last year, Thailand has opened its doors to tourists from India and Taiwan to enter the country visa-free. This measure was set to take place for six months, from 10 November 2023 to 10 May 2024.

In the latest update, the Thai cabinet has since approved a temporary visa exemption for visitors from India and Taiwan not exceeding 30 days, effective from 11 May 2024 to 11 November 2024. The visa-free extension aims to boost tourism and make it easier for Indian and Taiwanese tourists to travel to Thailand.
