Photos: Prudential opens new head office, Menara Prudential in Kuala Lumpur

Prudential has officially opened its new corporate head office, Menara Prudential, located at the up and coming financial district, Tun Razak Exchange on 10 September 2019 (Tuesday).

The new space, developed by IJM Corporation, houses more than 2,000 employees from the brand's five businesses: Prudential Assurance Malaysia, Prudential BSN Takaful, Eastspring Investments and Eastspring Al-Wara’ Investments, its shared services hub Prudential Services Asia, as well as a walk-in customer retail branch.

Located in Malaysia's first dedicated international financial district –Tun Razak Exchange (TRX), Prudential's new head office houses more than 2,000 employees from its life insurance business.

Sharing a peek into the office space, Gan Leong Hin, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Assurance Malaysia, said: "Each floor of the office building is an ode to Malaysia’s vibrancy and showcases design themes related to natural scenery, arts and culture and urban landscapes."

Further, it features more than 10 types of workplace settings suited for activity-based working, open-collaboration areas, work cafes, focus pods, and more.

Speaking while officiating the launch ceremony, Yang Berhormat Tuan Lim Guan Eng, Minister of Finance, congratulated the company on this move and reaffirmed the role of insurance in planning for the financial future of Malaysians.

He said: "I hope to see greater private-public partnerships supporting our national aspiration for shared financial prosperity by ensuring all Malaysians are empowered with the right knowledge, accessibility, tools and skills to make financial decisions responsibly."
