Human Resources magazine is proud to reveal the latest additions to its HR Vendors of the Year Awards jury.
Composed of respected HR leaders from all over Asia, the jury welcomes representatives from ABB, Infiniti Motor, Mitsubishi, Monsanto and Volvo.
To be held in Singapore, Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong in November and December, the HR Vendors of the Year 2015 Awards celebrates the best HR solutions providers in Asia.
"The performance, achievements and practices of HR vendors will be feted as the brightest innovators in their respective fields," said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.
"Winning an award at the HR Vendor of the Year Awards is a huge validation of an HR solutions provider’s offering."
Here are some of the latest additions to the HR Vendors of the Year Awards 2015 jury.
Davis Chung, country head of human resources at ABB, previously worked with KPMG where he gained experience in organisational development, change management, restructuring, talent acquisition & retention, employee engagement and succession planning.
He was appointed by the Minister of Human Resource to a national panel for employers in the Malaysian Industrial Relations Court from 2010 to 2012.
Infiniti Motor’s head of global talent development, Maarten Lampe, is charged with attracting, developing and retaining key talent for the group.
His responsibilities include value branding and proposition, developing strategies and processes covering the identification, sourcing, development and deployment of talent around the group globally.
Previously, Lampe worked as an HR business partner at Qoros Auto, where he assisted senior management on various HR functions and initiated projects to optimise overall HR strategy.
Frederick Goh, Mitsubishi’s general manager for human resources & administration, is responsible for various HR functions, including strategic HR development and operations.
He also provides HR functional advisory to ASEAN sales offices. His expertise is in the establishment of new regional sales offices in ASEAN and in supporting business operations and expansion in the region.
Aparna Kumar, regional human resources lead at Monsanto, has been exposed to human capital management and in multi-cultural dynamic work environments for almost two decades.
Kumar now develops the Asia Pacific human resource strategy and leads the supply chain business across Asia.
Before joining Monsanto, Kumar was heavily engaged in the supply chain and IT industries across strategic, regional, and operational HR.
Through her 15 years of HR experience, Roopy Dhaliwal, head of human resources at Volvo, has developed expertise in internal communications, industrial as well as union relations, employee relations, employer branding, performance management, recruitment, retention, gap skills analysis, talent management, performance management and reward mechanisms.
Dhaliwal holds a Bachelor of Laws from Thames Valley University in London and is a certified PSMB trainer and a licensed LIFO trainer.
As HR head at Volvo, she devises and supervises human resource practices and objectives in order to promote an employee-oriented and high-performance culture.

All judges, such as Janet Man, senior director for talent & diversity at McDonald’s, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.
The HR Vendors of the Year Awards is based on a two-tier selection process. Category finalists will be decided by research on the vendor preferences of HR managers in Asia.
The winners will be judged by an esteemed jury of over 60 regional heads of HR from around Asia.
