The three-tier approach offers a framework for workplaces to be effective in implementing positive change and be more inclusive.

This article is brought to you by Singapore National Employers Federation (SNEF).

With new subsidies for HIV treatment and changing epidemiology of HIV, both the Guidelines on Managing HIV and Implementation Guide have been updated to provide the latest findings and recommendations.

These guides aim to provide workplaces with information to:

  • Change stigma and discrimination surrounding HIV,
  • Encourage early detection and treatment, and
  • Reduce spread of HIV.

Employers play a vital role in reducing stigma and discrimination towards HIV. The three-tier approach offers a framework for workplaces to be effective in implementing positive change and be more inclusive.

  • Tier 1: Workplace education
  • Tier 2: Supportive and inclusive workplace environment
  • Tier 3: Workplace policies

Pledge your support to implementing the three-tier approach on managing HIV in the workplace.
