Up the ranks: Arezki Haddad named Club Med's new Chief HR Officer

The appointment comes as part of a restructuring the company is undertaking in its Asia Pacific operations, which also sees the consolidation of its three existing business units into two integrated entities.

Club Med has named Arezki Haddad (pictured above) its new Chief HR Officer, effective 1 May 2025. According to his LinkedIn, Haddad is based in Shanghai, China.

The appointment comes as part of a restructuring the company is undertaking in its Asia Pacific operations, which also sees the consolidation of its three existing business units into two integrated entities — East & South Asia and Pacific (ESAP) and China, effective the same date.

Designed to align with the distinct business environment in ESAP and China while preserving the collaborative "One APAC" mechanism, this new structure seeks to solidify Club Med's position as one of the world's lifestyle brands and drive the next chapter of growth in Asia.

In line with this, Club Med has appointed Rachael Harding as Chief Executive Officer of the newly integrated ESAP business unit, which now oversees both commercial and resort operations. Reporting to Gregory Lanter, Deputy CEO of Club Med, Harding will lead the business unit through a dynamic market landscape, focusing on delivering exceptional customer and brand experiences while driving sustainable, profitable growth across both mature and emerging markets.

In addition to Harding's appointment, the ESAP business unit will see several key appointments:

  1. Cindy Beleau becomes Vice President of Revenue Management APAC, leading a modernisation of pricing strategies using digital and AI tools.
  2. Sandrine Rossi takes on the role of Vice President, Operations and Product, bringing over 20 years of experience in resort operations and strategy.
  3. Anastasiya Kulish steps in as Vice President of Japan Resort Operations, with a focus on strengthening Club Med’s mountain leadership in Hokkaido.
  4. Michelle Davies, General Manager Pacific, will expand her remit to include ESAP new markets.
  5. Olivier Monceau adds the Meetings & Events segment to his leadership of Singapore and Malaysia.
  6. Jerome Ferrie as Chief Financial Officer.

Andrew Xu will continue as CEO of Club Med China and serve as Deputy CEO of Club Med, overseeing global finance.
