Leading payroll service provider Excelity demonstrates SMAC knowledge

Excelity Global Solutions, a global leader in payroll business, will showcase its leadership in payroll processing and human capital management at HR Tech Interactive, a regional invitation-only HR technology event for HR leaders and senior HRIS specialists.

HR Tech Interactive 2016 is a one-day conference for HR business and technology specialists happening in Hong Kong on 30 September, in Kuala Lumpur on 6 September, and in Singapore on 15 September.

Presenting the session on “Rethinking the HR role in today’s organisation – The impact of SMAC!” in Singapore will be Alok Kumar, CEO cloud services at Excelity Global Solutions.

In his session, Kumar will be looking to share with delegates “the other levers than technology that is needed to gain full advantage and the key learning from experience Excelity have derived from serving multiple organisations for years.” Kumar added, “the return on HR tech investments can be undermined where HR and related process’ integration is not designed from the outset.”

HR Tech Interactive will tackle issues the latest research has found to be affecting the HR community and businesses in general, including big data analytics, workforce management systems, mobile-enabled processes, social media campaigns, and talent management applications.

Kumar is responsible for broadening Excelity’s spectrum of choice to the marketplace in the form of cloud services. The HR cloud solution is increasing becoming a choice of delivery model as clients are reassessing payroll delivery format for increasing employee engagement through digital processes. All Excelity’s clients opting for cloud solution are delivered through a single integrated cloud services business unit that Kumar leads.

Prior to joining Excelity, Kumar was part of the talent function at Aon Hewitt, where he consulted with clients in the areas of building corporate university platforms, processes and programs; including performance management and learning management and helped clients establish strong linkages between the constituents. Kumar has held various responsibilities to enhance expertise in the several functional disciplines; with a focus on transformation and process effectiveness. He has an degree in commerce from Delhi University and post graduate diploma in business management from XLRI Jamshedpur.
