HR Practitioner Appointments

Carlo Felicia is the head of CoE rewards, APAC & Japan at Philips SingaporeEffective 1st February 2016, Felicia is responsible for leading Philips HealthTech's compensation and benefits programmes, policies and processes for ASEAN Pacific & Japan. Based in Singapore, Felicia told Human Resources he was previously the director of total rewards, Asia Pacific at BD Singapore.

Annastasia Karen Raj relocates to Shanghai for her new roleLear Corporation has appointed Annastasia Karen Raj as its new director of talent acquisition for Asia Pacific effective February 2016. In her new role, Raj will cover both operational and strategic recruitment. This move sees Raj relocating to Shanghai, China, from Selangor, Malaysia where she was previously the head of talent acquisition at Hong Leong Bank.

iCar Asia has appointed Cilia Rasasegram to the role of general manager of people and cultureWith effect from February 2016, Cilia Rasasegram, will manage iCar Asia's people and culture strategies including organisational development, employee relations and internal communications. Rasasegram is based in Kuala Lumpur and was most recently as the head of people and culture for Tune Protect.

YOOX Net-a-Porter Group appoints Vincci Wong as its new APAC HR managerBased in Hong Kong, Vincci Wong has been appointed by YOOX Net-a-Porter Group to be its new APAC HR manager, as of February 2016. Wong comes with 16 years of HR experience and was most recently the APAC HR business partner for the Net-a-Porter Group.

Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific expands its talent acquisition teamAngela Ng joins Discovery Networks Asia-Pacific as a director of talent acquisition from her previous role as director of digital practice at Talent Insight Executive Search Group. Ng enters her new role with about ten years of HR experience, and operates from Singapore.

Rohit Manucha is now the head of compensation and benefits, Dubai for Dunia FinanceDunia Finance has recently appointed Rohit Manucha to lead its compensation and benefits function in Dubai. For the role, Manucha has relocated from Muscat to Dubai, with his most recent role being the head of organisation development and total rewards at PepsiCo India.

Mavis Koay has been appointed as a recruiter at Lumileds MalaysiaLumileds Malaysia has named Mavis Koay as a recruiter with effect from this month. Based in Penang, Malaysia, Koay's most recent designation was the HR senior representative for staffing and L&D at Agilent Technologies.

Cargill Holdings (M) expands its recruitment teamEffective from February 2016, Sujeetha Subramaniam will work under the title of talent acquisition executive at Cargill Holdings (M) for which she will be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Subramaniam has about ten years of HR experience with her most recent role being the senior client recruiting consultant at Kelly OCG.

Flex welcomes LY Yeoh as its new GBS HR managerWith effect from December 2015, LY Yeoh will be working under the capacity of GBS HR manager at Flex and will be based in Malaysia. With almost 16 years of HR experience, Yeoh has worked for various companies in Malaysia such as RadiSys Corporation. Her most recent role, Yeoh was the HR manager at Jinko Solar Technology.

Mohd Fauzi Chan Abdullah takes on a new role at Guan Chong Cocoa ManufacturerOperating from Malaysia, Mohd Fauzi Chan Abdullah will be taking on the role of human resources & administration manager at Guan Chong Cocoa Manufacturer effective this month. Previously the human resources manager at CSF Group, Fauzi has a strong passion for HR and aims to groom talented individuals in his new role.

Rahul Taneja joins Jet Airways as chief people officerPreviously the vice-president and head of corporate HR for Essar Group, Rahul Taneja has been appointed by Jet Airways as chief people officer. In this new role, Taneja will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for shaping the operations and performance of Jet Airways.

Juliet Silvela is Credit Suisse's new talent acquisition specialistJuliet Silvela, previously an HR generalist at Liberty Medical LLC, has joined Credit Suisse as a talent acquisition specialist with effect from February 2016. Silvela comes with four years of HR experience, and for her new role, she will remain in the Philippines.

Jio (Reliance Industries) has appointed Dheeraj Singh Solanki as the manager of mobilityWith effect from February 2016, Dheeraj Singh Solanki will work for Jio (Reliance Industries) as the role of manager of mobility. In this role, Solanki will relocate to the Mumbai Area from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India. Solanki brings with him about eight years of HR experience with his most recent role being ASM at Intex Technologies (India).

CH2M’s new chief HR officer, Shelie GustafsonCH2M has promoted Shelie Gustafson, 51, to the role of chief human resources officer. In her new role, Gustafson will lead the company’s global human resources organisation. Joining CH2M in 2007, Gustafson most recent role was as the vice president, global human resources delivery overseeing human resources in CH2M’s domestic and international regions.

Global logistics firm BDP International's new HR headEffective from 1 January 2016, Marcia Lyssy has been promoted from global director of talent management to senior vice president of human resources at BDP International. In her new role, Lyssy’s primary duties will include talent management, compensation and benefits. She resides in Plymouth Meeting, Pennsylvania, with her husband and daughter.

Stephanie Lundquist is Target's new CHROA Target veteran of 11 years, Stephanie Lundquist has been promoted to the role of executive VP and chief human resources officer. Lundquist's most recent role was as senior vice president of human resources and was responsible for Target’s headquarters team as well as all HR functions for Target India operations.

Alison Bott appointed as group head of HR, Noble GroupNoble Group has recently appointed Alison Bott as the company’s group head of human resources. In her new role, Bott will be based in London and will report to chief executive officer Yusuf Alireza and the board risk committee. With over 16 years of experience in the HR industry, Bott joined Noble Group from Goldman Sachs after spending six years as partner in charge of human capital management for Asia.

HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Sandra Tai is a principal consultant with Clement May MalaysiaEffective from 1 January 2016, Clement May Malaysia has appointed Sandra Tai as a principal consultant. In her new role, Tai told Human Resources she will be traveling between Selangor and Kota Kinabalu recruiting for all commercial industries, technical and functional roles within SEA. Prior to joining Clement May, Tai was the recruitment manager for Honeywell.

Coaching Go Where's new CEO is Anna TanAnna Tan has set up Coaching Go Where - "the TripAdvisor for all things coaching," as she describes it - and as CEO she will set the strategic direction for the company. Prior to this, Tan founded Barrage Vision where she still holds her role as MD, and was also MD of Wentworth People, aiding firms in Asia through staff engagement.

Aju Murjani is Excelity Global's new ASEAN MDWith effect from February 2016, Aju Murjani will be managing director, ASEAN at Excelity Global and will be responsible for redesigning the firm's sales and marketing programs. Prior to this, Murjani was the managing partner at SpinfexIT. He will remain in Singapore for the new position.

Adecco's new team lead for finance and accountingDanny Gan Kean Wai has been promoted from senior consultant - finance and accounts specialist to team lead - finance and accounting at Adecco Malaysia. In his new role, Gan will remain based in Kuala Lumpur and be recruiting for finance and accounting roles.

Jayashree Velupillai is now a senior consultant at VOLTVOLT Singapore has appointed Jayashree Velupillai to the role of senior consultant for technology. In her new role, Velupillai will remain based in Singapore and will be recruiting for roles in technology and telecommunications. Before this, Velupillai was a managing consultant at Sciente International P/L.

Randstad Malaysia promotes Ashley Mathew to senior recruitment consultantAshley Mathew has been promoted from recruitment consultant to senior recruitment consultant at Randstad Malaysia. For this new stint, he will continue being based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and aspires to help people find the best jobs.

Sheni Krishnan is now a consultant at Ellwood ConsultingEllwood Consulting has welcomed Sheni Krishnan into its team of consultants for the banking and financial services industry. Based in Malaysia, Krishnan's new role will see her recruiting for roles including relationship managers & corporate bankers, wealth management, retail and corporate product management. Prior to this, Krishnan was an associate consultant for banking & financial services at Ambition Asia.

KennedyFitch's new partner, Hari AbburiWith almost 20 years of experience in HR, Hari Abburi has been appointed as the new partner at KennedyFitch effective from February 2016. In this new role, Abburi will remain based in Zurich, Switzerland. Prior to this appointment, Abburi was the global head of organisation development & talent at Hoerbiger where he has been the anchor for shaping people strategy, organisation culture and HR transformation.

Promotion and new appointment at Robert WaltersHo Kok Yoon has been promoted from senior consultant to manager for sales and marketing and technical healthcare at Robert Walters. In his new role, Ho will specialise in recruiting professionals for the sales, marketing, medical and regulatory roles for the technical healthcare area including pharmaceutical, medical, life sciences, hospitals, animal health and over-the-counter industries.

Meanwhile, Robert Walters has also appointed Shankar Subodhai as a consultant with effect from February 2016. Prior to this, Subodhai was a technical resourcing consultant at Apar Technologies where he managed the full spectrum recruitment cycle.
