A 14.5% reduction in fuel surcharges will be seen across all short-, medium-, and long-haul flights.
In response to fluctuations in jet fuel prices, Cathay Pacific has announced a further reduction in fuel surcharges effective from 1 July 2026.
Under the revised arrangement, fuel surcharges for all short-, medium-, and long-haul flights will be reduced by 14.5%. The fuel surcharge for flights between the Chinese Mainland and Hong Kong will remain unchanged.
Here is the revised surcharge levels:

Separately, due to softened travel demand to the Middle East, the suspension of flights to and from Dubai and Riyadh by the carrier will remain in place until and including 31 August 2026.
The latest adjustments follow previous reductions in fuel surcharges on 16 May 2026 as the airline continue to review the fuel surcharge every two weeks to better capture jet fuel price movements and respond to evolving market conditions.
