Q How do you ensure that your recruitment portal fits into the bigger HR priorities, and do you work closely with your HR clients for this?

We’ve identified the key challenges and needs in the industry, and have leveraged our resources to create the ideal online-to-offline solution. We bring clients everything they need from a full-service recruitment solution: speed, quality, disruptive pricing, and offline servicing. And we are committed to growing and improving in all areas, adapting both to the market, and to the clients.

Q What were the key business drivers behind your win for the best recruitment portal by a recruitment solution provider category, and how have you executed it successfully?

Our online-to-offline recruitment model is backed up by a leadership team with a combined 150+ years of recruitment experience, 400+ industry expert consultants, and a massive 1,000,000+ pool of pre-screened, high-quality candidates. Our objective is to build a platform that empowers clients to initiate searches on their own, find candidates through AI matching or self-initiated browsing, request, view, or modify job assignments, and manage existing hiring projects at ease.

Throughout the process, clients are assigned dedicated relationship managers, ensuring top quality, fast speed, and disruptive pricing, from beginning to end of the hiring process. On the other hand, the portal enables candidates to view thousands of live mid- to senior-level jobs online and submit job applications and referrals in just simple clicks.

Q Being an industry newcomer, what were the biggest challenges you faced, and how did you overcome them?

The biggest challenge is people management across 13 offices worldwide.

We have fostered an 'ownership' and 'abundance' mindset over the last six years, which directly influences the way our leaders serve their clients and candidates. Since the beginning, our co-founders have believed that if someone is an owner in a company they will care more about serving their clients and candidates. So we created a way for people to move from being an 'employee' to being an 'owner'.

Through the company’s ESOP and equity purchase plan, 70+ team members own equity in the company. This was a major goal of the company when it was formed and has been the #1 key to the success and growth of the firm. We believe this is largest equity ESOP plan in our industry in China/Asia.

Q On to the most important part — results! How did you measure the ROI or milestones of your solutions, and what are you most proud of?

From the founding of Cornerstone Global Partners (CGP) in 2012, CGP has delivered executive search, RPO contracting, staffing and other HR services to a wide range of industries and clients. Nowadays, over 450+ consultants serve clients from offices in Shanghai, Beijing, Suzhou, Guangzhou, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xiamen, Nanjing, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and United States. Our active clients have been increasing from 450+ in 2017 to over 700+ in 2019. CGP has averaged over 50%+ annual growth since 2016 and exceeded 80%+ growth in 2018.
