Up the ranks: CBRE designates Susan Wong as Director, Talent & Learning, SEA and Middle East

Based in Singapore, Wong's remit covers Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, and Middle East. 

Susan Wong (pictured above) is starting a new position as Director for Talent Management and Learning & Development function, Southeast Asia and Middle East at global commercial real estate services and investments firm CBRE. 

Her remit covers Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines and Middle East. She is based in Singapore and reports to Fiona Yap, Head of People for Southeast Asia, Middle East and Africa.

Speaking to HRO, Yap said: "Our vision is to enable CBRE employees to realise their full potential through best-in-class people practices so our company, colleagues and clients can thrive. Susan will be instrumental in delivering strategic talent and learning agenda in the region."

In her new role, Susan’s priority will be to lead initiatives that focus on retaining the top talents. To achieve this, she partners with business stakeholders to build solutions on early career development, upskilling professional capabilities, sustaining high performance team culture, accelerating people manager excellence, as well as bringing a greater sense of employee engagement and wellbeing, in order to support the business in focusing on client and delivering exceptional outcomes.
