Dev's latest appointment builds on experience spanning talent, business partnering, and people & organisation leadership, as he takes on a broader regional remit.
Mars has appointed Chuman Dev (pictured above) as People & Organisation Director, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia & Growth.
Dev shared the move on LinkedIn, describing the appointment as a milestone in his career and part of an ongoing integration journey. He said the integration journey had been “truly exciting”, adding that it had involved learning new things each day, alongside a fair amount of unlearning and relearning.
Based in Malaysia, Dev joined Mars in 2023 as Talent Lead & Business Partner, Asia. He later took on the role of Interim People & Organisation Director, Asia, before moving into his current position with responsibility across the five markets.
Reflecting on his progression at Mars, Dev thanked his mentors, coaches, and colleagues for the trust and space to grow.
Prior to joining Mars, Dev held people and HR roles across several organisations, including AstraZeneca, DKSH, and Unilever.
