Up the ranks: Capri Global welcomes Vivek Jain as Chief Human Resources Officer

He joins Capri Global from his previous role at Kotak Bank, where he served for more than 15 years.

India-based non-banking financial company Capri Global has appointed Vivek Jain as its Chief Human Resources Officer, who will collaborate with the senior leadership team to attract, develop, and retain top talent, and create a high-performance, entrepreneurial culture. 

With over 25 years of industry experience and a visionary outlook on managing talent, Jain joins Capril Global from his previous role at Kotak Bank, where he served for more than 15 years. 

In his new role at Capri Global, Jain is set to play a pivotal role via a service-oriented approach, and his ability to build new lines of businesses.

Expressing his thoughts on the appointment, Rajesh Sharma, Managing Director, Capri Global Capital said: "His extensive experience in the banking and finance sector aligns well with our growth trajectory, ensuring that top-tier talent with effective skills contribute to our success.

"Vivek’s expertise will play a key role in fostering a positive work environment and developing strategies in line with our business goals."  

In his tenure with Kotak Bank, Jain held key roles, including Senior Executive Vice President & Head of HR for Investment Banking, Institutional Equity, Private Equity, Private Banking, Corporate Banking, Corporate Treasury, and Asset Reconstruction. He was also credited with maintaining attrition below 20%, improving revenue per employee, and introducing innovative business practices.

Prior to Kotak Bank, he has worked with organisations such as Genpact and Lupin Pharmaceuticals. 

Jain is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Human Resource Development and has published a research paper on career progression published in the International Journal of Organisational Analysis.
