Up the ranks: Amran Mohd Tomin lands Group Chief Human Capital Officer role at Malaysia Aviation Group

He brings experience across automotive, logistics, and manufacturing industries to his new role overseeing human capital strategy at MAG, effective 1 August 2025.

Amran Mohd Tomin has been appointed as Group Chief Human Capital Officer (GCHCO) of Malaysia Aviation Group (MAG), effective 1 August 2025. In his new role, he will oversee the Group’s human capital strategy, lead organisational development efforts, and drive a culture of high performance across the aviation group.

Prior to joining MAG, Amran served as Vice President of Human Capital at Proton Holdings Berhad (PROTON). During his time there, he led key initiatives in strategic transformation and talent development. He was also a Board Member of PROTON New Energy Technology (PRO-NET) and Proton Global Services.

Throughout his career, Amran has held senior HR leadership roles at Alam FloraPos Malaysia, and Pharmaniaga. His experience spans multiple sectors, including automotive, logistics, and manufacturing, with a focus on advancing human capital leadership transformation, and workforce planning.

Amran holds an Executive Master of Management from Asia Metropolitan University and a Bachelor of Business from Universiti Utara Malaysia.

With his cross-industry experience, Amran is set to play a key role in strengthening MAG’s human capital strategy.
