Singapore's top recruitment websites

Jobstreet.com, jobsDB Singapore and LinkedIn are the top three recruitment websites used by senior human resources professionals in Singapore.

This is according to the Vendors of the Year 2014, an annual special edition published by Human Resources, Asia's most read and respected source of HR news.

Now in its ninth year, Vendors of the Year provides a ranking of the most preferred vendors, service providers and consultants used by HR and C-suite professionals to recruit, manage and develop talent in Singapore.

Jobstreet.com takes out the number one spot for the third time in this highly contested space of online recruitment, after pushing jobsDB to second place in 2012. LinkedIn takes out third place for the second year in a row.

"As a local company with a global view, we understand the needs and specific requirement of Singaporean businesses and the challenges they face," said Chook Yuh Yng, country manager at JobStreet.com. "Jobstreet.com continuously tries to innovate to overcome these challenges and give our customers the best service with the most effective solutions."

Chook added 2014 was a "year of innovation" for JobStreet.com, with a website facelift, improved navigation and personalisation, and new features for both online and mobile applications for searching for jobs and talent.

Similarly, Sheldon Anthony Fernandez, managing director of jobsDB Singapore, said 2014 was a huge year of growth, with new initiatives to engage job seekers with interactive applications, relatable content and market insight surveys. As at August 2014, deposited resumes grew by 22% and registered members by 20%.

"jobsDB is about helping talent find the right jobs with great companies. Despite the tight job market, jobsDB is proactively spearheading activities that are of value, such as periodic surveys and research initiatives. These processes aim to provide job seekers and employers alike with up-to-date insight that is relevant to career search and job market trends," he said.
