Prudential salutes the efforts of HR professionals as gold sponsor of HR Excellence Awards 2020

Since its successful launch in 2012, HR Excellence Awards returns to Singapore with a strong endeavour to acknowledge the best HR teams that APAC has to offer.

The launch awards show was established to provide an incubator platform for HR teams to showcase their HR strategies and initiatives. Over the years, the show has evolved to become the region’s go-to benchmarking platform across industries.

This year, together with gold sponsor Prudential Singapore, Human Resources Online is proud to bring together talented HR professionals as one force to champion the way forward.

Jeff Ang, Head of Enterprise Business Solutions for Prudential Assurance Company Singapore, said that as businesses adapt to the demands of a post-COVID-19 world, the role of HR professionals in safeguarding the health and wellbeing of employees is more crucial than ever.

“At Prudential, we have witnessed these efforts first-hand, working closely with our clients to support them through the pandemic with additional coverage and financial assistance from our PRUcare package. We salute the efforts of our HR professionals and honour those who have worked tirelessly to look after the well-being of employees,” said Ang.

As an organisation with a strong focus on employee wellbeing, lifelong learning and work-life integration, Prudential understands the need to help businesses prepare for rising longevity and aspirations from employees to work for longer.

A first-in-market benefit, Prudential’s customised group insurance plans covering hospital and surgical, outpatient medical and dental expenses provide protection for employees up to the age of 100. Typically, insurers offer plans that cover employees up to the age of between 70 and 75.

Ang added, “HR plays a critical role in shaping workplace policy, ensuring business sustainability, and helping employees prepare for a more productive future. For this reason, we are proud to recognise the contributions for this year’s Employer of the Year and HR Leader of the Year awards.

As the region’s only peer reviewed awards show, our esteemed judges panel will honour best-in-class HR teams and individuals for their spectacular work executed across the entire HR function.
