Up the ranks: Socomec calls on Nida Khanam to lead HR for the Greater India region

Socomec, a leading global specialist in Low Voltage (LV) power management, has called on Nida Khanam as its new HR Head for the Greater India region.

In particular, her remit covers India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Maldives, Bhutan, and Nepal. 

Nida is an accomplished HR professional with two decades of experience across various industries, including automotive, manufacturing, and technology. She was most recently Chief People Officer for Omega Seiki Mobility, bringing prior experience with GROHE, Lixil Water Technology, and Rockwell Association. 

At Socomec India, Nida will be responsible for driving the HR function across commercial and plant operations, and will spearhead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, talent development, and organisational effectiveness. She brings a wealth of expertise in developing and leading HR strategy and processes, with a proven track record of driving HR transformation in diverse cultures and change management.

Commenting on her new role, the leader said: "My vision is to uphold this culture of excellence through people-centric initiatives and values-driven practices.

"My immediate focus will be on fortifying our HR function to align with our business objectives.
