New forms of talent mobility defined

How do new mobility arrangements and dynamic workforce composition interrupt mobility patterns? Top-notch HR leaders and mobility specialists will show how to strategically deploy talent amid fast-changing trends at Workforce Mobility Interactive, Asia’s leading regional global mobility conference.

Organised by Human Resources, Workforce Mobility Interactive 2017, a one-day conference for director and VP-level HR professionals and mobility specialists, will take place in Hong Kong on 21 February, Kuala Lumpur on 16 February, and Singapore on 14 February.

“In addition to intelligent analysis, practical solutions will be laid out at the conference by its speakers who are highly experienced talent executives and mobility experts,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

“Workforce Mobility Interactive 2017 will provide delegates with a flexible mobility success blueprint that they can apply to their organisations.”

The Workforce Mobility Interactive 2017 agenda will feature subjects that HR and global mobility research finds fundamental in driving organisational and business growth.

At last year’s conference, a panel of speakers examined how mobility compensation policies can fulfil business objectives and maximise resources allocated for talent management. A keynote presentation focused on creating a holistic standard of talent mobility beyond traditional international assignments.

For Workforce Mobility Interactive 2017, a discussion entitled “The new era for workforce mobility” will delve into the emerging forms of mobility, such as short-term assignments, project-based assignments, intra-country mobility, and virtual mobility.Techniques for redesigning mobility programmes to meet the needs of evolving workforce structure and movements will also be presented. Another highlight is the strategies and principles start-ups use in implementing mobility programmes.

Workforce Mobility Interactive is Asia’s only regional conference on staff mobility and expatriate management strategy. Attendance to the one-day annual event is strictly by invitation only with invitations reserved for senior in-house HR professionals. Attendance is capped at 100 delegates.

The conference will cover global workforce trends, repatriation strategies, succession planning for global talent, and mobility tools and solutions. To get a global and Pan-Asian regional view of staff mobility and expatriate management strategy, do not miss Workforce Mobility Interactive 2017.

Human Resources’ “Interactive-style” conference format is a unique blend of case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
