Nestlé Malaysia employees go for gold across 22 events

In the backdrop of the Rio Olympics 2016, Nestlé employees also came together to compete in the Nestlé Supermeet 2016 ending last month.

The event brings together employees from Malaysia and Singapore once every four years to compete in a range of 22 sports activities, such as badminton, football, netball, sepak takraw, tennis and athletics.

Over a thousand Nestlé athletes from 10 contingents came together on the grounds of University of Malaya to vie for the Champion trophy for three days of intense competition.

One of the highlights of the event was the Nestlé OMEGA PLUS Fun Walk, which saw almost 500 employees and their families walk in solidarity towards greater heart health.

Jamie Lim of Nestlé Singapore team added: "This is my first Supermeet, together with most of my team members. We are all very excited to be here and we had a lot of fun. We have also succeeded in forming new friendships and strengthening bonds during this event!"
