Meet the 2022 finalists: 10th edition of HR Excellence Awards Singapore

It's time to celebrate and meet the finalists of HR Excellence Awards 2022, Singapore!

In its 10th year, the #HRExcellenceAwards will honour teams and individuals who are resilient in pushing the boundaries of people strategy to achieve new heights. The shortlisted candidates have signalled themselves as Singapore’s best-in-class HR teams and individuals for their spectacular work executed across the entire HR function.

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner held at Shangri-La Hotel Singapore on 5 October 2022, with gold, silver, and bronze awards along with individual winner trophies to be given out across 34 categories.

The Awards are judged by a panel of top HR leaders. This year's panel includes senior HR professionals from organisations such as A.Menarini Asia-Pacific, Apollo Tyers, Aspial, Breadtalk Group, Deliveroo Singapore, Intercontinental Singapore, JustCo, Klook, Love, Bonito, MSD Singapore, Novartis Singapore, ST Engineering and more.

Judge Michelle Lee, Chief People Officer, JustCo, commented: "The strong submissions reinforced my optimism in the calibre of HR professionals, especially their ability to adapt and step up to be a strategic partner to the business leaders and employees in times of crisis and economic uncertainty."

Another member of the panel, Cary Shek, Vice President, People & Culture, Klook, shared: "I am very inspired by the entries for this year's HR Excellence Awards! While employee wellbeing has come under the radar because of the pandemic, I am encouraged that this has been a key focus area for participating organisations and COVID-19 just enabled them to take their strategies to the next level, or become more creative. Overall, I believe HR in these organisations are valued partners to their management, by being able to measure the impact of their strategies and initiatives on organisational outcomes."

Meanwhile, Shaun Ee, People Director, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (part of the Heineken Company) also added that “while the Great Resignation (or the Great Reshuffle, as we know it now) is well and truly alive, this year’s entries have managed to stay ahead of it by adopting people-centric strategies and actions to win their battles in attracting, developing, and retaining their best talents.”
