Lonza Singapore sees 100 volunteers taking part in its CSR initiative at South West District

The team set out to fulfil the wishes of vulnerable residents, packed 1,000 sets of household items, and distributed festive cheer packs.

Over the extended Good Friday weekend and Easter, 100 volunteers from Lonza Singapore took part in the organisation's corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.

Joined by Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong and Mayor for the South West District Low Yen ling, the team set out to fulfil the wishes of vulnerable residents in the District, packed 1,000 sets of household items, and distributed festive cheer packs with the aim to give back to community for a noble cause.

Sharing about the event in a LinkedIn post, Annie Lim, Head of Human Resources at Lonza Biologics, commented: "The dedication of our employees through volunteerism has not only strengthened our community's resilience but also showcased the power of collective teamwork in overcoming challenges, ultimately enabling to a healthier world."

According to a post by the South West CDC, Lonza Singapore will be reaching out to 720 residents across the South West District over a one-year period, as part of Grant-A-Wish with Lonza, to provide further support to residents in the District.
