HR practitioner appointments

Hyneeis Kamarudin is now with Sedania InnovatorWith effect from June of this year, Hyneeis Kamarudin has joined Sedania Innovator as the company's director, talent management. Kamarudin is working from Malaysia, and prior to this role, she was working at Chevron Malaysia.

Li & Fung promotes Hui Ling WongBased in Hong Kong, Hui Ling Wong is now the senior vice president of human resources at Li & Fung. Previously, she was working in the company as its vice president of human resources. Her new appointment came in effect April 2016.

International Data Corporation (IDC) expands its HR teamValerie Wan has been appointed HR manager, ASEAN at IDC with effect from July 2016. Speaking to Human Resources, Wan said her main focus in her new role will be talent acquisition and retention."I will be acting as advisor/partner to the country managers to achieve business objectives and needs by creating the right environment," she said.

Stefanie Teng moves out of HSBCAs of June 2016, Stefanie Teng has taken on the role of senior manager talent programme consultant, at Manulife. Her prior role was talent manager, Hong Kong hub at HSBC. She operates from Hong Kong.

Schneider Electric promotes Vir Amar DasmahpatraPreviously the associate general manager, talent management and organisation development at Schneider Electric, Dasmahpatra is now general manager, talent management and organisational development, Greater India zone. "We have globally introduced a high performance culture transformation initiative. I am now going to lead the design and deployment of this initiative for my organisation - an organisational development exercise which will blend global processes and activities with local interventions," he told Human Resources.

Natalie (Rob) Garrick relocates to AustraliaAs of June 2016, Garrick is working as the internal communications and talent acquisition lead at Luxottica. Previously working as the head of learning campus at BASF South East Asia in Singapore, she has relocated to Australia for the role.

Lee Kheng Kam gets hired by Kimberly-ClarkBased in Malaysia, Lee Kheng Kam is now Kimberly-Clark's talent management and learning partner. Her appointment came under effect March of this year. Previously, she was in the people development and change management team at Colgate-Palmolive Malaysia. She is a certified master performance coach.

Shawn Wong Hua Sion is no longer with AxiataAs of April 2016, Shawn Wong Hua Sion's official designation is talent development manager at Japan Tobacco International. Based in Malaysia, her previous role was head of resource management, learning and development at Axiata.

Westpac New Zealand expands its HR teamOperating from Auckland, Anita Jacob is now HR manager at Westpac New Zealand. Prior to this role, she was working as a HR manager (contract) at Griffins Foods. Her appointment came under effect from April 2016.

Roy Chan takes on a role at Surbana JurongAs of July of this year, Roy Chan is working at director, organisation development and performance management at Surbana Jurong. Based in Singapore, he has also worked in IBM as executive leadership development partner.

Hans Han is no longer with HunstmanAs of July 2016, Hans Han has been appointed as the regional head compensation and benefits at Bridgestone Asia Pacific. Prior to this role, he was the head compensation and benefits, Asia Pacific at Huntsman.

HR solutions provider appointments

Noel Anthony is now head, talent acquisition and on-boarding at SRG Asia PacificPreviously working as the manager HR, resourcing at HSBC, Anthony has now joined the HR team at SRG Asia Pacific as of July 2016 in Malaysia. Speaking to Human Resources, Anthony stated that in his new role, he is “primarily responsible for the resourcing and recruitment of talent as well as ensuring they are on-boarded and ready to be deployed to the operations floor with the required skillsets”. “The key change in my new role is that I am now given the opportunity have an impact towards the firms P&L, whereby the teams deliverables and mine will contribute towards the profitability of SRG Asia Pacific,” he stated.

Cochlear's new senior recruitment specialistAs of June this year, Lee Wai Leong has taken on the role of a senior recruitment specialist at Cochlear. Based in Malaysia, he previously worked with Spring Professional as a senior consultant.

Colin Kwek's latest role at Lockton Colin Kwek is now the AVP, client advocate at Lockton Benefits Group Asia, and is operating from Singapore. Speaking to Human Resources, Kwek stated he is passionate about "reaching out to associates in the compensation and benefits profession to listen to the challenges they face in these difficult market conditions and to share how Lockton can empower them to achieve their objectives".

CareerXcell names new senior staffing specialistRoy Rihan has joined CareerXcell as regional technical recruiter. Previously working in the executive search team at Career Channel, Rihan's new appointment came under effect May of this year. He operates from Malaysia.

Accord Infocom Solutions hires IT technical recruiterAs of May 2016, Indra R is part of the team at Accord Infocom Solutions. Operating from Malaysia, his previous stint was at Brandt International, where was working under the same designation.

Panneer Selvam takes on new responsibilities at EYPreviously working as a director in the firm, Selvam is, as of July this year, partner, people advisory services (mobility, tax) at Ernst & Young Solutions LLP. He operates from Singapore.

Charles Hamilton Ferguson takes on a new position at ADPPreviously the division vice president, Asia Pacific region at ADP, Ferguson is now the firm's president and general manager, Asia Pacific region from July 2016. "Taking on the entire operation of the business from service delivery, new product design and go-to-market, and professional services, to mergers and acquisitions, accountability for all our APAC associates, and overall P&L accountability is a huge responsibility and an incredible opportunity for me in this role," he told Human Resources.

KNOLSKAPE's Arpit Kalani gets a new designationAs of June 2016, Arpit Kalani is working as KNOLSKAPE's AVP, growth. Based in India, his previous role was principal client partner at the firm.

Elliott Scott HR names new associate consultantJiemin Xu, previously a researcher at Elliott Scott HR is now an associate consultant at the company. Her new appointment comes under effect July 2016. Operating from Singapore, she is focused on junior-to-mid level HR roles across industries.

Margaret Chan-Thorp moves out of CBREChan-Thorpe is, as of June 2016, working as a senior consultant, at Simitri Group International. Based in China, her previous role was senior director, head of marketing and communications, China at CBRE.

Andy Willshaw gets a new role at Reed HamiltonAndy Willshaw has joined Reed Hamilton as partner as of July 2016. He is operating from Singapore and Malaysia. Before this new role, he was working as director and co-founder at SuitEmpire.

Parveena Selvarajah rises up the ranks at Korn Ferry Hay GroupPreviously working as a consultant with Hay Group, Parveena Selvarajah's official designation is now senior consultant at Korn Ferry Hay Group. based in Malaysia, her new appointment was made effective from May of this year.
