HR guru Adrian Furnham on talent strategy measurement

Among the experts who will steer this year’s conversation on HR strategy at Talent Management Asia is Adrian Furnham, professor of Psychology at University College London. In his keynote presentation, Furnham will explore how HR leaders and talent executives can incorporate talent management strategy into business strategic planning.

Talent Management Asia, the region’s biggest human capital strategy conference, is a two-day conference happening in Singapore, Malaysia, and Hong Kong in March 2017. The annual event is attended by senior HR professionals and corporate leaders from the biggest companies in Asia.

Furnham is the author of over 50 books on management, workforce behaviour, and leadership, including Management Intelligence, The People Business and The Elephant in the Boardroom: The Psychology of Leadership Derailment. He graduated with a degree in Master of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and completed his doctorate at Oxford University.

A sought-after speaker, Furnham has delivered lectures abroad and held scholarships and visiting professorships at various institutions, such as the University of New South Wales, the University of the West Indies, the University of Hong Kong and the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

He also works as a consultant to major international companies, with particular interests in top team development, management change performance management systems, psychometric testing and leadership derailment.

Previous Talent Management Asia participants were Fortune 500 companies and major employers across the region, such as CapitaLand, Coca-Cola, Facebook, Fox International, MasterCard, Mitsubishi, Singapore Airlines, Standard & Poor’s, The Nielsen Company, and Unilever.
