Faces of HR: Behind the scenes of #TalentManagementAsia with Naomi Cranswick

Naomi Cranswick, Publisher of Human Resources, is asked about the A-Zs of our upcoming signature conference, Talent Management Asia, in a chat with Priya Veeriah.

Q. What is the vision behind Talent Management Asia (TMA)?

It’s a conference where top leaders and talent management experts in Asia come together to discuss their strategies and plans for an effective and future-ready workforce. Delegates can be sure to find adequate opportunity to share knowledge, experiences, and foresight that will help them and their companies be more agile in 2019.

Q. How has TMA changed since 2013?

The team behind Talent Management Asia has taken stringent measures to research thoroughly on the issues at the core of the HR function, to develop content which reflects the needs of the HR industry, and offer an engaging and interactive format to ensure everyone gets a takeaway from attending.

2019 offers streams to allow attendees to select what’s most pertinent to them, and for this year we also have an advisory panel in place to ensure we keep on top of what’s current and dive into the minds of those who eat and breathe the world of HR.

Q. How would you describe the work that goes into executing a great conference like TMA?

Intense! Immense! Passionate! As Benjamin Franklin said: “If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail”.

Q. Which session are you most looking forward to, and why?

Elouise Chin from OCBC Bank – it resonates with my role and I’m keen to discover some nuggets to help me develop as a leader and business professional.

Q. On behalf of the team, what would you like to say to the attendees of TMA?

Don’t miss this opportunity to have your say in the future of your people, your organisation and the HR industry! The team is excited to host you and hold your hand in this journey. Thanks to everyone for their support – enjoy the conference!
