Employee Experience Awards 2021: Singapore finalists announced

Check out who has made the cut in categories such as Best First-Time Manager Programme, Best Career Development Programme, and more.

It is time to celebrate the best employers for EX in Singapore. With the judging completed, the finalists for the inaugural Employee Experience Awards 2021 Singapore have emerged.

The Employee Experience Awards is the region’s only peer-reviewed HR awards focused on bringing to light the various pillars of the employee experience. #EmployeeExperienceAwards celebrates the exceptional contribution that HR practitioners across the region have made in implementing and transforming three key elements of a holistic EX approach: leadership, learning and engagement. The winners will be announced on 18 June 2021.

The awards are judged by a panel of top HR leaders. This year, the panel includes senior HR professionals from organisations such as BHG Singapore, Boston Scientific Asia Pacific, COMO Group, Estée Lauder Travel Retailing, Liberty Mutual, PUB, UOB and more.

One of our judges, John T W Tan, Vice President, Human Resources, South-East Asia, Millennium Hotels & Resorts commented that it's great to see companies taking up “e-arms” in responding agilely and creatively with cutting-edge yet pragmatic smart solutions - as demonstrated by this year’s strong line-up of award-winning wannabes, "we are spoilt for choice".

Meanwhile, Shaun Ee, Human Resources Director, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore (Part of The HEINEKEN Company) added this year’s entries demonstrated "the importance of keeping people at the heart of every business strategy and action, while remaining agile and staying connected as we navigate one of the most challenging periods in human history”.

Also weighing in on the entries was Marcus Heng, Chief Human Resources Officer, Mandai Park Holdings who said the entries he assessed, demonstrated many companies have embarked on some forms of transformation and leverage on technology to continue to engage and develop the workforce, "kudos to the HR teams for staying agile and resilience during this difficult period".
