Coca-Cola, Essilor and HCL speak on engaging top talent

As the talent management sphere expands, changes in attracting, developing and retaining employees has necessitated innovation.

Industry veterans and HR leaders, including executives from Coca-Cola, Essilor and HCL, will discuss the most relevant issues at Talent Management Asia, the region’s premier HR strategy conference.

Talent Management Asia 2016 is an annual two-day conference held in Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore in March 2016.

It is attended by HR leaders from the largest employers in Asia, the individuals who set the human capital agenda in world’s the fastest-growing region.

He also leads employee engagement programmes and HR transformation to create sustainable business based on the company’s vision, mission and values.

Prior to joining Coca-Cola, he held HR roles in consumer goods companies, such as PepsiCo, ICI (now Akzo Nobel) and Vega Foods.

Eveline Noya, talent management head at Essilor, specialises in talent management, with a background in leadership and executive development, transformation, competency management, performance management, talent development, internal communication, recruitment and selection.

She also has wide expertise in strategic workforce planning, design and implementation of global programs in HR, mergers and acquisitions, integration, international law, compensation & benefits.

With over 20 years of experience in human resources, Prithvi Shergill, chief human resources officer at HCL Technologies, is in charge of ensuring that policies and practices at HCL allow individuals to join, learn, perform, collaborate and grow their diverse contributions and capability.

He was a partner at Accenture before joining HCL.

At Accenture, he helped develop the company’s human capital strategy in various geographies and supported their technology growth platform as its global talent strategist.

The list of companies participating in the Talent Management Asia 2016 agenda is continuously growing, and among the top ones are Abbvie, Archroma, Emerio, Mitsubishi and Schneider Electric.

All presenters and panellists, such as Angeline Oh, group talent management and development vice president at SingTel, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.
