When it comes to recruitment, more organisations are transitioning their HR recruitment function away from a purely talent acquisition standpoint and towards a business partnering model.
Gary Lai, managing director SEA at Charterhouse, says this shift has helped evolve HR from being an "operation essential" to "part of the strategic planning unit of organisations".
Because of this, the need to outsource recruitment increases in many organisations - especially as more HR leaders take on positions such as chief human resources officer (CHRO) and report directly to the CEO and other senior-level executives.
"Hence, partnering with the right recruitment agency which understands how present and future human capital needs of clients are met becomes even more critical,” said Lai.
Talking more on this topic, Lai will be a key interactive round table host at the upcoming one-day conference, Recruitment Interactive 2014.
At this popular event, he will share his insights on optimising your sourcing strategy amid the changing workforce demographics and employee expectations.
Recruitment Interactive 2014 will be held on November 20th, at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Singapore.
