If you are late 154 times and drink 45,500 cups of tea of coffee at your desk during your time at work, then you are a typical worker.
According to a poll done in the UK of 2,000 workers by Benenden Health, the typical employee will also receive about eight decent pay rises in their lifetime, The Daily Mail reported.
Typical workers will also moan about their boss 623 times over a 40 year period and although we might only have one office romance, we’re likely to have a major fight with at least three of our colleagues.
As the working environment and economy becomes more turbulent, employees are likely to be signed off work for stress by a doctor at least once in their lives – with 29% admitting they have already sought medical help for work-related stress.
In the UK, the worry about making ends meet has caused 34% of workers to find a second job.
Additionally, 40% of workers admit their job has had a negative effect on their personal lives, with the average working going through a bad patch with their partner at least twice.
One third of employees will also lose the balance between work and personal life over the years.
