Amazon Web Services has introduced a free course targeted at business leaders and technical decision-makers who are planning to begin a machine learning (ML) strategy in their organisations.

The curriculum, 'Machine Learning Essentials for Business and Technical Decision-makers', is a series of three 30-minute courses: Introduction to Machine Learning: Art of the Possible, Planning a Machine Learning Project, and Building a Machine Learning Ready Organisation.

In the first course, participants are expected to learn the basics of ML such as how ML can help drive business projects, how ML functions, and the potential problems that come along.

The second course is all about execution. The teacher will discuss whether a ML solution is appropriate to your business problem and whether your existing data is sufficient for trying ML.

In the third course, participants can learn how to prepare the company for using machine learning, the type of cultural shift that might be required, how to evaluate the existing data strategy, and how to create a culture of learning and collaboration.
