All Singaporeans aged 18 and above this year to receive $100 worth of credits for SG Culture Pass from today

The SG Culture Pass can be used to defray the cost of tickets to attend and participate in various local arts and heritage programmes, and can be used across three years, from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028, via authorised ticketing providers.

From 1 September 2025, all Singaporeans aged 18 and above this year will receive $100 worth of credits, which they can use to defray the cost of tickets to attend and participate in various local arts and heritage programmes. These include performances, exhibitions, experiences such as learning tours and participatory workshops, and other cultural offerings.

The SG Culture Pass credits will be valid for use across three years, from 1 September 2025 to 31 December 2028, via authorised ticketing providers. The Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth (MCCY) has announced that from now till 1 September 2025, no action is required from citizens to claim the SG Culture Pass credits.

During this time, citizens will not be asked to reply to any SMS, click any links, or provide any personal information or banking details to claim their SG Culture Pass credits. Any website or SMS offering the redemption of credits and/or purchase of event using credits before 1 September is fraudulent.

Here is how you can set up your profile:

  1. Visit sgculturepass.gov.sg and log in with your Singpass account to do a simple one-time profile setup.
  2. The website will be your go-to platform for a complete list of events you can enjoy. Authorised ticketing partners will indicate eligible events with the 'SG Culture Pass label'.
  3. Select the SG Culture Pass Credits in the payment section to use it for your purchase. Pay the remaining amount with card payment or Paynow if you do not have enough SG Culture Pass credits.

MCCY has also shared the eligibility criteria for SG Culture Pass. The details are as follows:

Sector requirements

  • Applicants must operate within the arts and/or heritage sectors, and meet the specific sector requirements in the list of eligible arts and heritage sectors and sub-sectors.

Profile requirements

  • Applicants should have experience organising arts or heritage activities over the past three years. Where an applicant is not an individual, if the applicant has individuals with relevant experience organising arts or heritage events or partnerships with relevant sectoral organisations or stakeholders, they may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
  • An applicant who is an individual must be a Singaporean Citizen or Permanent Resident and must have proof of status that they are a self-employed person (SEP), or currently affiliated with an arts or heritage organisation.
  • An applicant that is a collective must comprise members who are practitioners. The collective must appoint one member to apply on behalf of the collective.

Programme format

  • Programmes must take place physically in Singapore and require in-person attendance. As the intent of the SG Culture Pass is to support arts and heritage activities rather than to defray the costs of training individuals, multi-session series (e.g. workshops with multiple sessions for the same group of participants) are not eligible.

Ticketing

  • Programmes must be ticketed through an SG Culture Pass ticketing partner and open to the public for attendance and/or participation.

Compliance

  • Applicants must comply with all relevant laws and regulations when planning and executing their Programmes.
  • This includes securing any necessary copyright permissions, licences, and permits, such as the IMDA Arts Entertainment licence, where applicable.

Exclusions

  • Programmes must not fall within the list of exclusions

*The Government may also update the eligibility criteria from time to time. Please check the official website at https://sgculturepass.gov.sg/https://sgculturepass.gov.sg/  to ensure that you are referring to the latest version of the eligibility criteria before submitting any application.
