WDA warns of SkillsFuture scam

The Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA) has warned the public of a suspicious offer by a training organisation.

According to a Facebook post by WDA, a training organisation has been offering vouchers in exchange for individuals signing up for their courses and claiming their SkillsFuture Credit via SingPass.

The WDA is currently investigating the matter.

"WDA takes a serious view of any individual or organisation that abuses the SkillsFuture Credit scheme and will not hesitate to act against those who contravene our guidelines and terms on the use of SkillsFuture Credit," the post said.

The WDA encourages the public to report on individuals or organisations offering such suspicious offers and urges all users to avoid sharing their SingPass account information with others.
