Up the ranks: Ramesh Ganeshan takes on regional HR VP role at NCR Corp.

Ramesh Ganeshan has been appointed Regional HR VP, Asia Pacific & Japan, NCR Corporation, effective 8 July 2019. Continuing to be based in Singapore, his remit includes 16 countries and territories across Asia and Oceania.

In this role, his number one priority is to "lead the change management initiative in terms of bringing cohesiveness and alignment of different business verticals, driving performance management, and 'one HR' philosophy," as told exclusively to Human Resources Online.

NCR Corporation is a global leader in consumer transaction technologies, through its software, hardware, and portfolio services. It is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, with nearly 30,000 employees and does business in 180 countries.

Ganeshan will be reporting to Deb Bronder, SVP and Chief Human Resources Officer based in Atlanta.

He moves over from Agility, where he was tenured for about 14 years, and most recently held the position of Vice President, Human Resources, Asia Pacific.

At Agility, he cites several memorable moments over his tenure. "My entire journey in Agility from a country to global transformation project to Asia Pacific region has been tremendous, wherein building leadership capacity in the region has been the prominent one," he says.
