Property technology company PropertyGuru Group (PropertyGuru) has today announced the promotion of Genevieve Godwin to the role of Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO).

Based in Singapore, she moves up from the role of HR Director, in which she helped strengthen the company’s talent growth and development across Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam for over 1,200 employees.

Through that role, she also played a key part in enhancing the employee experience through improvements in the company’s HR tech; upgrading the firm’s recognition & benefits programmes to create a more inclusive and supportive work environment, and, most significantly, bringing to life a culture of learning at PropertyGuru.

Moving forward, as CHRO, Godwin will continue to focus on all these areas as well as further enhance employee learning and development. In 2020, she will work with senior management and the board of directors to further develop a holistic approach to talent, encompassing the launch of PropertyGuru’s employee value proposition and a focus on integrated talent development across the group.

Commenting on this, Hari V Krishnan, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, PropertyGuru Group, said: “I am delighted to announce Genevieve’s elevation to Group CHRO. Her leadership and impact on our talent management and development are commendable and the improvements are felt by each employee in the Group.”

He added: “With her passion and determination to build an improved workplace, I look forward to working with her closely to strengthen our talent strategy and employer branding.”

Further, Godwin shared: “I am very excited to contribute to and continue shaping the unique culture at PropertyGuru. The group has grown from strength to strength, backed by the most talented professionals in Asia.”

She added: “I look forward to supporting our Gurus development and experience, as we continue to drive excellence for PropertyGuru.”
