Up the ranks: NCR appoints Lee U-jin as HR Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan

NCR, a leading provider of enterprise technology for banking, retail and hospitality has appointed Lee U-jin as HR Vice President, Asia Pacific Japan (APJ). Based in Singapore, Lee now leads the HR strategic agenda which covers 16 countries and territories across Asia and Oceania with over 10,000 employees, effective February 2020. He will be working closely with NCR's Global HR leadership team to lead HR initiatives for the APJ region, that align to the organisation's objectives in areas such as leadership development.

Speaking exclusively to Human Resources Online, Lee said: "NCR's 134-year-old history of development and growth is aimed at making business transactions easier while powered by technology. I am excited to be part of a future-orientated organisation whose ambition is to develop innovative technologies to serve our customers all over the world. We will continue to develop a culture centred around collaboration, teamwork, innovation and fun so that we can achieve more together as a team, a winning team!"

Lee joins NCR from Sibelco, a mining multinational company headquartered in Europe where he was the HR Vice President for Asia. Prior to that, he was the HR Director for Asia Pacific at Volex, an electronics multinational company headquartered in London. He holds an executive MBA from Rutgers Business School, a Bachelor of Applied Science (IT) from RMIT University.
