Up the ranks: Lynette Lim joins Transport Capital as Director of Human Resources

In this new role, one of Lim's key focuses will be to help the company make further strides on the 'social' aspect of ESG.

Transport Capital, an investment management and financial advisory firm focused on Maritime and Aviation, has called on Lynette as Director of Human Resources, based in its Singapore Headquarters.

Lim brings with her over 20 years of experience in HR, having held roles at various international organisations including Tyco Fire & Security, DHL Express, and Raffles Holding. She was most recently Regional Human Resource Manager at Wallem Shipping Singapore.

This hire "further strengthens Transport Capital’s commitment to sustainability across all its operations", and in this new role, Lim will "help the company make further strides on the 'social' aspect of ESG," the firm said on Thursday (2 June 2022). Apart from Singapore, Transport Capital currently has offices in Beijing, Hamburg, Frankfurt, Athens, and New York.

Commenting on Lim's appointment, Philip Clausius, Managing Partner, Transport Capital, said: "With Lynette, we are making an investment in our most important asset, our people. This is a strategic priority as we continue to grow our business and develop Transport Capital to always be an attractive place to work for all. We are thrilled to have Lynette lead this effort in this exciting stage of our growth."

Sharing her thoughts on her new role, Lim said: "I am excited to build on the foundations the team has put in place over the past nine years, and to further implement and develop best-in-class HR practices for this next phase of the company’s growth.

"I have always been a strong proponent of D&I in the workplace, and I aim to ensure we always remain an employer of choice."
