Up the ranks: GD Goenka Group welcomes Varun Reddy Sevva as CHRO

Sevva brings to the role significant expertise in talent management, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance.

Education provider GD Goenka Group has announced the appointment of Varun Reddy Sevva as its new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), effective June 2024.

With a career spanning more than 14 years across industry verticals, Sevva brings with him extensive knowledge and experience in HR and organisational development. Notably, he possesses significant expertise in talent management, employee engagement, HR operations, and compliance. His approach to HR development, talent acquisition, and creating high-performing teams has carved a distinctive niche for him, the company said in its announcement.

Prior to joining GD Goenka, Sevva played a crucial role in mentoring start-ups, and also managed HR operations for Device Solutions at Samsung Electronics, where he earned multiple accolades. He also introduced innovative HR initiatives to bolster employee satisfaction and organisational productivity during his stint with Apollo Tyres.
