Up the ranks: Abhijit Rao takes up role as Global Head of People for actyv.ai

Based in Bengaluru for this role, Rao's most recent corporate experience includes a tenure at UiPath as Head of People - APAC.

Singapore-headquartered enterprise software as a service (SaaS) provider with embedded finance offerings, actyv.ai, has appointed Abhijit Rao as its Global Head of People, to bolster the employer brand and people growth.

Based in Bengaluru for this role, his corporate experience includes a tenure at UiPath as Head of People - APAC, where he has been credited with setting up and expanding the people operations function. More recently, he has become a Sloan’s Fellow in Leadership & Strategy from the London Business School.

Commenting on the appointment, Raghunath Subramanian, Founder and Global CEO, actyv.ai, said: "Abhijit’s passion for people development, domain expertise, and leadership will drive synergies and help build a world-class organisation focused on a ‘people-first’ and winning culture."

As a people operations leader, Rao brings over 18 years of experience with companies in the services (Infosys, Wipro) and products (Onmobile, UiPath) space in the IT industry. He has worked extensively on establishing people practices across LATAM, Africa, India, APAC, and the Middle East.
