HR technology promises greater efficiency and strategic benefits but how can organisations actually succeed in converging people, process, and technology tools?

HR Tech Interactive, the regional invitation-only HR technology event for regional HR leaders and senior HRIS specialists, will gather the experts at the forefront of HR tech and digital workforce management to examine shifting trends, methods and issues that make technological integration for HR processes possible.

HR Tech Interactive is a one-day conference for HR leaders and senior HRIS specialists happening in Kuala Lumpur on 6 September, in Singapore on 15 September and in Hong Kong on 30 September.

“The rising interest in HR solutions, social media and even wearable tools spells more than just ease of implementation because each organisation has a unique setup and motivation,” said Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine.

“As in past years, HR Tech Interactive 2016 will showcase winning case studies and cutting edge solutions as a guide for HR practitioners involved in technology decisions.”

HR Tech Interactive 2016 will tackle today’s most promising strategies and solutions in rewards & benefits. This year’s conference will look into:

Strategic HR systems – Critical steps, considerations, and challenges in integrating new technology in HR functions and ensuring high productivity and efficiency;

Re-purposing social media campaigns – Practical insights on productivity losses and solutions to proper use of social media for HR activities and how to effectively use online platforms in promoting the employee value proposition;

Mobile workforce trends – Unlocking the potential of the latest mobility platforms, telecommuting, and next-generation applications and devices;

Robots at work – Is robotics the future of HR? What areas of HR require automation and sharp functionality? What are the implications and opportunities in the use of robots at the workplace?

Workforce analytics for talent management – Different approaches in leveraging technology and data analytics for talent and leadership strategy;

The future of 360-degree appraisals – Detailing how a 360-degree feedback system can truthfully identify workforce competencies and office behaviour and how it can aid in creating an employee development plan;

Emerging recruitment and hiring technologies – The relevance of automation to the major changes in the recruiting landscape, hiring processes and decision making.

Past HR Tech Interactive participants are senior HR leaders from majoremployers in the region, such as AXA, Credit Suisse, Ericsson, Hewlett Packard, Hyatt Group, Maersk, Petronas, SocieteGenerale, UPS, and Volvo.

All presenters and panellists, such as David Chin, chief human resources officer at Biosensors, are director or vice president level HR professionals with regional responsibility.

Held in Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong in September, HR Tech Interactive is Asia’s biggest HR technology strategy event. Attendance to the one-day annual event is by invitation only with invitations reserved for the senior in-house HR professionals.

Human Resources’ “interactive-style” conference format applies to case study presentations, panel discussions and roundtable discussions in which delegates work through five topic areas in a single day – an experience described by attendees as eight hours of intense peer learning.
