These 10 job titles deliver the highest bonuses

Earlier this year, more than half of Hong Kong employees reported that they were not expecting to receive a bonus for their efforts in 2015, due to a slowing economy. Of course in certain sectors, large bonuses are still being paid out.

Similarly, despite the economic turmoil surrounding Brexit, certain job titles in the United Kingdom can still land employees high bonus payouts. The below list features the top 10 jobs paying the highest bonuses in the UK for 2016.

The list was compiled by company review website Glassdoor and based on data gathered from UK based employees over the past two years.

Seeing finance jobs like equity trader and investment banker associate in the top 10 might not come as a surprise, but Glassdoor head of international Diarmuid Russell points out it's not all about the finance sector.

"People traditionally think that those working in finance earn the biggest bonuses. Whilst finance roles such as portfolio managers, traders and brokers take five of the top ten spots, it’s interesting that they are nearer the bottom of our list", Russell said in a press release.

"The earning potential of top sales professionals is evident, with global account managers taking top billing, and of course senior workers such as CEOs and COOs with greater experience and qualifications also doing well”, he added.
