The spotlight is on: Meet the finalists of HR Excellence Awards 2026 – Indonesia

The winners will be announced at a gala dinner on 6 November (Friday) at The Westin Jakarta.

It's time to meet the finalists of the HR Excellence Awards 2026 – Indonesia!

Across 40 categories, this year’s shortlist reflects an HR function that continues to evolve, from employee engagement and leadership to workplace culture, talent and digital transformation. And with three new categories making their debut, AI is firmly part of the conversation:

  • Excellence in AI-Enabled Workforce Transformation,
  • Excellence in Performance Management Evolution, and
  • Excellence in the Use of Generative AI for HR.

The shortlisted entries showcase how organisations are tackling new workforce challenges, finding fresh ways to support their people and rethinking what effective HR can look like in a changing workplace.

Highlighting the growing strategic role of HR, Yanto Tjoa, HR Director, ZTE Indonesia, observed: "This year's entries showed a real maturity shift, where more organisations are backing their HR strategies with measurable outcomes and business impact rather than just activity counts.

"It's a strong sign that HR in Indonesia is moving from doing more to proving more."

Reflecting on the evolving role of people strategy, Nelda Victoria Siburian, Head, BHC Conglomeration & People Strategic, Bank Maybank Indonesia, said: "HR excellence is not about having the most programs. The strongest entries demonstrated how innovative people strategies, combined with disciplined execution, can deliver measurable business impact, transformation, and sustainable growth."

Turning to learning & development, Antriska Marantiyas, Senior HR Business Partner, Multi Bintang Indonesia, highlighted how organisations are strengthening their approach to capability building: "It is encouraging to see how organisations are elevating their HR processes, particularly in learning & development.

"The strongest initiatives demonstrate a clear focus on capability building, measurable impact, and creating a culture of continuous learning, proving that L&D has become a key driver of both employee and business growth."
