Singapore's Bearded Bella eatery to shut shop on 18 March 2026

The team has cited an abrupt closure on their lease as the reason.

Neighbourhood eatery Bearded Bella has announced its immediate closure in Singapore's Tanjong Pagar district after eight years of operations. The café will be open for one last day on Wednesday, 18 March 2026.

Sharing the news on its Instagram account, the team said: "The past year hasn't been easy, and we've reached a point where we're no longer able to continue", whilst citing an abrupt closure on their lease.

As of publishing time, no details have been provided on how the news has been relayed to the staff, and if any outplacement support may be afforded.

The eatery signed off the note by inviting patrons to join the last-day sale at the outlet, stating that all dishes, cutlery, coffee, wine, and furniture would need to be cleared out.

The news comes as Singapore's F&B landscape is facing intense churn. Most recently, The Providore, a home-grown Singapore cafe chain, deli and grocer, ceased all operations in all six of its Singapore outlets, effective 9 March 2026.
