Return-to-work programme: SRV Media introduces support measures for mothers returning after maternity break

SRV Media’s new #WeBackYourComeback initiative covers job access, mentorship, and upskilling in digital marketing and AI-led workflows.

India-based SRV Media recently launched a Mother’s Day initiative, #WeBackYourComeback, to support mothers looking to restart their careers after a maternity break. The return-to-work programme combines hiring opportunities with structured upskilling and mentorship to help women re-enter the workforce.

The initiative is supported by an explainer film and is designed to help mothers regain industry readiness and professional confidence as digital marketing continues to evolve with new tools, trends and AI-led workflows.

Focus on restarting careers after maternity break

SRV Media said the initiative is based on the insight that while maternity breaks may pause careers, they should not pause ambition.

It added that many women returning to work find it challenging to reconnect with fast-changing industries, especially digital marketing, where roles are being shaped by AI tools, new platforms and changing digital practices.

The programme is designed to support both career re-entry and skills development.

Two pathways for returning to work

The #WeBackYourComeback initiative offers two routes for mothers depending on their readiness to return.

The first option allows candidates to apply for current job openings at SRV Media and go through the company’s hiring process. Successful candidates can resume work within the organisation.

The second option is for those who need more preparation before returning to full-time roles. SRV Media will provide structured upskilling and mentorship led by its leaders and teams.

The training will focus on digital marketing practices, advertising workflows, AI-led processes, industry trends and updated tools relevant to each candidate’s experience.

Explainer film and return-to-work journey

The initiative is supported by an explainer film that follows the emotional and professional journey of mothers looking to restart their careers after prioritising caregiving responsibilities.

The film highlights the challenges of returning to an industry that has evolved rapidly with new tools, trends and expectations. It also positions SRV Media as a support system through mentorship, practical upskilling, guidance and career-readiness support from its leadership teams.

Mothers are offered flexibility under the initiative to either apply for open roles or opt for structured upskilling support, depending on their individual readiness. The aim is to support career re-entry, rebuild confidence, and enable a return to the workforce on their own terms.

Practical support for career reintegration

Unlike symbolic conversations around inclusion, #WeBackYourComeback is positioned as a practical return-to-work initiative.

It provides direct access to current job openings at SRV Media, along with structured interview and hiring opportunities for candidates ready to rejoin the workforce.

For those who require additional industry preparation, the programme offers structured upskilling and industry-readiness training. This includes exposure to the latest tools, AI-driven workflows and marketing trends.

Participants will also receive mentorship from experienced professionals and leaders to support career guidance and workplace readiness.

Upon completion of the training, candidates will be issued a Letter of Recommendation. They will also have the flexibility to pursue opportunities within SRV Media or apply their skills elsewhere after the upskilling programme.

Leadership comment

Dr Vikram Kumar, Managing Director, SRV Media, said the initiative aims to provide real support for career restarts.

"We often talk about maternity breaks as pauses, but we rarely talk about the strength it takes to return. With #WeBackYourComeback, we wanted to build an initiative that goes beyond conversation and genuinely supports mothers with opportunities, guidance, and industry readiness,” he shared.
